FICEP was founded in October 1930 in Gazzada Schianno, near Milan, as “FABBRICA ITALIANA CESOIE E PUNZONATRICI” (Italian Shears and Punching Machines Factory).
Through a continuous development which began over 90 years ago, we become the largest producer in the world today of automated systems for the fabrication of structural steel and an one of the most outstanding producers of equipment for the forging industry.
FICEP is the leading manufacturer and supplier of complete solutions, providing a complete range of high technology systems for the forging industries.
The production and assembly of the forging lines is entirely concentrated in the main facility in Gazzada Schianno, and is divided in three areas: production and mechanical operations, medium/large machines assembly, and heavy machines assembly.
FICEP is specialized in the production of traditional friction screw presses (PVX) and direct drive (DD), hydraulic presses (HF), eccentric mechanical presses (MF). Furthermore, with the range of hot shears (CTCH) and cold shears (CADDY), disc saws (S) and anthropomorphic robots, FICEP is able to supply complete and automated cutting and forging lines.
The sawing machines, in various configurations, are also widely used in companies producing profiles, distribution and service cutting and machining.
